On November 18, 2011, BTF Concerts presented ROCK THE SCHOOLS CONCERT 2011. A benefit to support and promote music programs in NY State schools, held at the Gramercy Theatre in NYC.
The intimate, acoustic show was co-headlined by Actor/Singer/Songwriter, TYLER HILTON (One Tree Hill, Walk the Line) and Pop Sensation/Singer/Songwriter, RYAN CABRERA, with Actor/Singer/Songwriter BRYAN GREENBERG (Star of HBO’s How to Make it in America; October Road; Friends with Benefits; Bride Wars) and special guests VAL EMMICH and breakout artist, DION ROY. The show was Co-Hosted by Lauren Berger, The Intern Queen and z100′s Trey Morgan. Live Nation was an official sponsor.
The concert drew nearly 400 people to the Gramercy Theatre, also attracting actors in attendance at the VIP pre-party including James Lafferty (One Tree Hill), Sami Gayle (Blue Bloods), Alison Siko (Law and Order: SVU) and industry executives. Fans went wild as Constantine Maroulis (American Idol, Rock of Ages) performed a very special, impromptu, surprise duet with Ryan Cabrera during the show as well as a surprise duet between Bryan Greenberg and Tyler Hilton. The concert also attracted participation from z100, Dream Water and Vita Coco as well as a large amount of press.
